WORK Experience: 3 Core areas
Marketing Communications Professional
As a formally trained educator – with sales experience – marketing communications, public relations, and analyst relations come naturally for me. I have helped multiple companies to grow their brand awareness and revenue — including IDC, Avast, Avira, Runecast (now part of Dynatrace), and Whalebone.
Literacy Educator
Formally trained as a secondary-level language arts teacher, I facilitated self-learning for as many as 35 teenagers per class — people from numerous cultures, with incredibly different learning styles. That experience naturally helped me when managing diverse marketing communications teams.
Sales Professional
Since I was a child, I have been involved in sales activities, from my own first sidewalk lemonade stand and selling door-to-door to raise money for scout trips… to designing integrated security systems (access control, CCTV, motion/sound detection, fire suppression) for ADT Security/Tyco International… to helping sales teams overcome modern challenges of reaching and persuading their target audiences.

HOBBIES & Interests: Where we’ve been, where we’re going
History & Conflict Resolution
Enjoy learning about history from various perspectives (not only the winners’) and applying those learnings to develop new takes on resolving conflicts.
Music Appreciation & Creation
Love learning about obscure music and lesser-known subgenres, as well as blending my own musical creations into styles that have no clear label.
Early Childhood Development
Fascinated about how best to create highly capable and confident adults, even before trying various teaching experiments to help my own daughters.
